Secure wearables in Industrial Internet of Things Ref.No.SSTCRC2580
1. Introduction
Wearables are used in healthcare to monitor patients' vitals as well as in Industry for worker's safety management. Privacy and security breaches in these domains is increasingly alarming nowadays. With brand new zero-day exploits and Advanced Persistant threats are becoming common in today's scenario, a cloud based security and privacy preserving threat prevention technique is inevitable in these wearables. Federated learning and deep learning based approaches can be incorporated in the healthcare and IIoT domain for enhanced security and privacy.
2. Cooperation Required
To contribute as joint supervisor by guiding the Ph.D scholars and validating their works for this project. Funding for collecting data and creating a new dataset.
3. Benefits and Outputs
-A new technique for enhancing security and privacy which can be provided as a service on demand for healthcare and Industry. The work will be valuable to upcoming researchers in the domain of IoT security.
